Less hardness scale around the home
- Helps reduce chalky deposits on faucets and shower glass.
- Can reduce mineral spotting on dishes and fixtures.
- Helps protect water-using appliances from hardness scale.
Model Number: GX-WS
Less Hard-Water Buildup. More Enjoyable Everyday Water. Chalky deposits on faucets and shower glass can be a sign of hard water. GX-WS reduces calcium and magnesium hardness through ion exchange, helping reduce new hardness-scale buildup around your home.
Each system combines a resin tank, brine tank and programmable demand-regeneration control valve. Choose a capacity after checking water hardness, household use and peak flow.

GX-WS is designed for homes where calcium and magnesium hardness are causing recurring mineral scale and cleaning problems.

Request Maintenance InstructionsYes. Ion-exchange resin removes calcium and magnesium from the service water. This is true softening, not physical scale conditioning.
Yes. Water-softener salt in the brine tank regenerates the resin. Salt use depends on hardness, household water use and controller settings.
Yes. The control valve needs 110–240VAC, 50/60Hz power, and regeneration water must discharge to an approved drain.
Use a current hardness test, estimated daily gallons and peak simultaneous flow. The 32K, 48K and 64K models are rated for 9, 12 and 13 GPM respectively.
It can be part of either setup when hardness is the issue. Well water often needs testing for sediment, iron, manganese, sulfur odor, bacteria and other concerns before the treatment order is finalized.
Not by itself. Those issues may require separate sediment filtration, iron treatment, carbon treatment or UV disinfection based on the water test.
Whole-home installation involves the main water line, bypass plumbing, drain routing and electrical access. A qualified plumber is recommended.
Send your hardness result, household size, number of bathrooms, pipe size, water source, installation photos and fixtures likely to run at the same time.
Send your water-meter area photo, pipe connection, power availability and planned equipment layout. We can help check whether GX-WS fits before purchase.
